Well as promised here is part two of my guide to mismatched bridesmaids. Well I say guide but it's more a selection of images that would inspire me if I were choosing bridesmaids dresses. Last time I showed you a some natural and muted colours but here is a collection of dresses with a bigger burst of  colour.

And of course who could forget possibly the most famous mismatched bridesmaids - Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha from the Sex and the City movie. Perhaps not so much to my taste but I had to include them here.

Now if you enjoyed this stay tuned for even more fantastic ideas in Part 3. I know I can't wait!

Just a quick post to say I am pretty sure I need to make these. I think they look so delicious. I'm not sure they are cut into big enough squares here though. That said, the small the pieces the more I can eat without feeling guilty. Weird logic probably but hey these things look worth it. If you fancy making some too the recipe can be found here.

We're still working on getting our Tilly & Tabitha shop up and running but in the mean time here is another little peek at what we're going to be selling there. All our jewellery is made from such beautiful Swarovski crystals and pearls. Seriously, we're getting more excited by the day!

After publishing the post on peacock wedding ideas I felt all inspired and decided to put together another fabulous selection of peacock images. My favourite has to be the shoes though. They'd be beautiful without the peacock detail but that feather just makes them just so stunning. I have a feeling you might be hearing more from me on this subject at some point!

I thought I'd add a few words on here which have really helped me. I hope they'll provide you with a moment of clarity too.

Yes, life is far too short not to be wearing the pretty shoes you deserve. I might print this out and carry a copy of this in my bag at all times!

Anyway, whatever you're up this weekend, shopping or not, I hope you have a lovely time.

Do you know what wedding trend I'm loving at the moment? Mismatched bridesmaid's dresses. It always seems an obvious choice to put your bridesmaids in identical dresses but when you think about it maybe it's not always such a good idea. How are you going to find a dress that suits everyone, especially if you have a lot of bridemaids? It's OK if you all your bridesmaids are similar in age, shape, height, skin tone etc but what are the chances of that?

Here are a few examples of natural colour schemes that I love.

This isn't the last you'll hear from me on this topic though. Next time I hope to wow you with some fabulously colourful mismatched bridesmaid ideas.

I've not done a work space post for a while so I thought I'd share two home offices that have caught my eye recently.

I love this one because it is so bright and airy and looks like such a calm place to work. I think I could be quite chilled out here amongst these lovely spring colours. And wouldn't it be so beautiful with the sun streaming in through the window.

However, I also adore this one. What a great plum colour on the wall and I am loving all the storage. I would love to have space for loads of boxes and files like this. I also think it's great that there's enough space for a computer as well as a large empty area that can used for creative purposes or for someone else to park themselves if they wanted to work alongside you.

So tell me - which office space do you prefer?

While putting together the collection of images for February I was convinced that the amethyst shade of purple was definitely my favourite colour. However, I then made this collage and I think perhaps this gorgeous light turquoise colour is actually my favourite. It's just so fresh and bright. And as an aside it does look rather beautiful in our sterling silver bracelets.

Bet you can't wait to find out what April is now!

And here's the weekend again. I hope you all have a wonderfully relaxing one. In fact I hope I do too! I love this photo. It looks like this woman really did have lots she wanted to do but she just couldn't resist a snooze under her fab hat. I think I'd have found it difficult not to nod off too.

In my previous post I admited what shoes I had a major crush on well now it's time to admit what shoes I am married too. I adore high heels but as a busy mum rushing about all day that's just not practical. Nope, I simply could not live without my trusty Converse. I have rather alot of pairs now. It may seem obsessive to some but I'm not sure that all the pairs I own even add up to the cost of one pair of Louboutin's.

Therefore, in the style of "It's my blog and I'll post what I want to" I shall be slipping a few pictures of the ever wonderful chucks in when you're least expecting it. Here's hoping a few people reading this blog love Converse as much as I do.

So it turns out I'm having a bit of a fashion crush as I'm head over heels in love with Christian Louboutin shoes at the moment. And when I say shoes I mean the fantastically high skyscraper heeled kind.

The reason I love these shoes so much is two-fold. Firstly, they have ridiculously high heels and I love ridiculously high heels - I can even walk in them you know! And secondly, I am rather smitten by the red soles. They make the shoes really stand out. Maybe one day I'll own a pair. But maybe not. If I did I probably wouldn't even wear them through fear of scuffing them.

I love this image. I'm sure it's just a joke but I would actually do my nails like this.

And finally a few words of wisdom from the designer himself. I totally agree with him. I really do feel better when I'm in high heels.

Most weddings have some kind of colour scheme but sometimes it's nice for a wedding to have a theme as well as or even instead of a colour scheme. After spotting lots of peacock inspired images on Pinterest I started to think that a whole wedding with a peacock theme would be fantastic. And after a good old search it became apparent that I wasn't the only one inspired by this beautiful bird. Here are a few peacock wedding images I found. That cake looks far too beautiful to actually cut into and I love those bouquets! Oh and the shoes are rather fabulous too. OK, OK, I love it all. What do you think? Would a peacocky wedding be for you?

I am trying to think if I've ever actually sat in a hammock before and I'm not sure if I have. I fear that it might not be as relaxing an experience as it looks. I imagine the clambering in and out of it might be rather undignified and the swing might make me feel a little seasick. They don't half look relaxing though don't they? I'd happily step into any of these pictures right now if I could. Sigh. Oh OK then, go get me a hammock, I'll give it a go!

Have a relaxing weekend everyone!

You want to know what pretty little thing is making me smile today? It's this beautiful fossil watch. I love everything about it. The colours, the style, the sparkle. Oh and the fact it would look great with one of our blue zircon crystal bracelets. Hmmm, looks like another thing to be putting on my Christmas wish list. I've a feeling it's going to get rather long.

Here is the next installment of the Tilly and Tabitha guide to birthstones. I must admit I have loved collecting these images as I do love the colour purple. I actually have a purple phone cover like the one shown above but now I'm thinking I should probably get a purple laptop to match. And love, love, love those shiny amethyst inspired nails.

Keep following... March inspiration coming soon!

You've probably noticed rather a lot of green has been featured in my wedding posts recently and while I do like the green dresses if the truth be known I am actually rather more traditional than that. I like all things white, cream and ivory so I've been after something a little less colourful to show you. Here is a small selection of beautiful ruffled dresses. I think these are so romantic and I would have happily got married in any of these.
