Ever since my husband bought me that lovely yellow spotty satchel I have started to fantasise about other colours that would be nice to own. I really am going to stick with just this one though for many reasons, the biggest one being I've not even taken the yellow one out for a test run yet. It just seems too nice to fit in with my busy mum lifestyle. The thought of finding squashed raisins and soggy baby wipes at the bottom of it makes me sad. But it is hard not make this my latest obsession when there are gorgeous pictures like this floating around the internet!

I can't believe we're on our penultimate birthstone. And what a collage to have to put together considering my huge love of yellow right now! I love all of these images and am currently considering painting the outside of my house yellow. OK, so that might not work but wouldn't it be brilliant living in a bright yellow house? You'd definitely be the happiest house on the street!

Stay tuned for the final part of this series. Coming soon, December is...

I don't know about you but I think I'm well overdue a lovely long lie-in. I doubt I'll get one any time soon - so many things to do, people to see and places to go - but I'm shattered! I blame half term. Although saying that it has been nice not to have to do the school run for a few days. I am so not a morning person!

Hope you have a great weekend. I hope you manage to stay snuggled up in bed for as long as possible!

The colour of the moment has definitely got to be yellow. It was my favourite colour when I was child - I always had to be the yellow counter in any board game - and now I am realising why I liked it so much. It's such a bright and happy colour.

After posting this picture the other week my wonderful husband only went and bought this satchel for me as an anniversary present. How lucky am I? I've not actually used it yet though. Waiting for spring as I don't think it'd really go with my big black winter coat.

I am definitely going to make sure that lots of my 2013 outfits are full of yellow happiness. Here are a few things I could see myself wearing.

One of the aims of this blog is to show you some lovely inspiring images which might help you to create a gorgeous wedding. However, forget all that for a second while I show you these words. They are so very true. It's wonderful to have a wedding full of pretty things but you should never lose sight of the most beautiful thing of all and that is the love that you share with person you are blessed to be spending the rest of your life with.

Since starting this blog I've realised that I really don't have a favourite colour. I think I just love colour - full stop. If I had to pick a shortlist of favourites though purple would definitely be near the top which got me thinking about how you could incorporate purple into a wedding. Really easily it turns out. For a start how gorgeous is this little girl's dress? Perfect for a little flower girl to wear.

And I love the striking combination of orange and purple here.

And the colour isn't just for the girls. How smart is this for the men in the wedding party?

Let's also not forget the cake. I think this is rather stylish.

And how about this for a wedding dress that makes an impact? Totally stunning!

In my last post I showed you a picture of what was possibly the perfect looking closet. Today I want to show you a fabulous collection of shoes. I love this beautiful piece of artwork by Anna See. I bet you can guess what I love the most about it. Yes, that's right the sneaky appearance of a trusty pair of Converse in amongst all the fantastic heels.

Happy weekend everyone!!

How do you organise your wardrobe? Do you just hang things anywhere without thinking about it or do you have a system? I'm quite organised and I keep types of clothes together - the going out tops together, the sweaters, the shirts etc. Now I've seen this photo though I think I might have to think about colour-coding. How great does this closet look? I especially love how even the shoes are lined up to match. My wardrobe suddenly seems really boring!

It's Valentine's Day NEXT WEEK!! Therefore it's definitely time to start dropping hints to the man in your life. Perhaps you could leave the Tilly & Tabitha shop website open on your computer.

Or if you think your man has Valentine's sussed already you could send the link to some of your male friends who you think might appreciate a few ideas!

Thanks and lots of love of course x x x

I must admit I am rather into colouful satchels at the moment and although I am very tempted to purchase one my sensible side keeps warning me off. I can't help thinking I'd never have room in one to carry around all the junk I usually have with  me. I did however get a little bit excited when I saw this photo as I thought I owned it!

Turns out I don't have it but I do have an identical make up bag which is sadly too small to use as a handbag!

Anyway, this is the satchel I am really coveting.

I'll buy it one day! Perhaps when I don't have to lug around all manner of stuff for the children!

There's been a lot of pretty pastel pink on here lately so I thought I would shake things up a bit for the weekend and post the least pastelly picture I could find! How's this for a burst of colour? Can you imagine living here? It would have a to put you in a good mood every time you stepped outside.

Hope you all have a weekend as bright and colourful as this photo is!
