This weekend I got the opportunity to go shopping in my favourite shop at the moment, Forever 21. I managed to find the perfect t-shirt which basically sums up my style for the summer. Stripes with a hint of neon. I bought this pink one and the same but with yellow shoulders and navy blue stripes which I can't find on the website for some reason. I must clarify that I'll probably team these tops with jeans and not teeny tiny shorts like in the picture above! Not sure the world is ready to see me in shorts that small!

So what have you been buying lately?

I would love to have more shelves in my house. I love the idea of possessions being things to be proud of and looked at. It's great to be able to display stuff - especially books - without having to squirrel them away in a cupboard or even worse the loft where sadly lots of my books seem to end up.

I have therefore collated a few images of shelving that I love. (I just said "shelving that I love" does that mean I am getting old?!) Anyway, here you go. I particularly love all the great use of colour.

I was so tempted to buy this dress when I was in French Connection earlier this week. I tried it on and it actually fitted rather well. Trouble is I have no idea when I'd wear it and it seemed rather silly to spend £60 on a dress that's just going to hang in my wardrobe. So what do you think? Should I have bought it?

I can never decide what my favourite colour is. I guess it depends what kind of a mood I'm in. At the moment, after a fantastic holiday in Cornwall, I am loving all things to do with the seaside so it makes sense I am rather fond of turquoise right now.

I therefore pose a simple question to you. What's your favourite colour?

This time last week we were in Cornwall having a wonderful time on holiday. It was perfect. We enjoyed some fantastic family time and the weather was beautiful. It's a shame the weather this week hasn't been quite up to the same standard. Come back sunshine, we miss you. I look at pictures like this and sigh, I miss the feel of warm sand between my toes. I hope you have a little bit of sunshine where you are or if not some comes along for you soon.

I can't help being drawn to lots of pretty clothes hanging up on rails. I guess that's why I rather like shopping. My husband thinks I can't go into a clothes shop with out touching everything! He may have a point. Since having children much more of my shopping is done online but to be honest whilst it's nice to get cool stuff in the post nothing quite beats a good afternoon shopping in actual shops. Here are a few images of pretty clothes on rails. I feel a shopping spree coming on.....

How do you feel about camping? I've not been in many years and I kind of like the idea of it. However, reality soon kicks in and I realise I like a comfy bed, central heating and not having to traipse across a soggy, dark field to go to the toilet. But then I see images like this and I think yes - camping is definitely for me! Where do I get myself one of these? So, what about you? Are you a camper?

It's been exactly a month since I last mentioned neon so I though it was time I brought another little splash for fluorescent colour to your life. This time I'm doing it in the form of wedding ideas. After a quick scoot around Pinterest I realised that a neon themed wedding would actually be rather cool. It would definitely be a wedding to remember!
